We incorporated UX principles to ensure that content is easy to navigate, with intuitive menu structures and search functions to help users find information quickly. Interactive elements were also added to make the website engaging, such as collapsible sections for reports and easy-access links to resources.
The Institute for Democracy and Mediation
The Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) is committed to strengthening participatory governance and democratic institutions. We have developed a dedicated website for IDM, which aims to streamline the filtering of publications related to their research and initiatives. This platform will enhance their engagement with civil society, support EU integration processes, and foster regional cooperation and security. Our team, including our contributions to the UI/UX design, worked diligently to ensure the website meets the needs of IDM.
Our goal for IDM’s website was to create a modern, user-friendly digital space that reflects IDM’s mission and broad array of activities. The website needed to support IDM’s role as an information resource, facilitate engagement, and provide access to its research and policy recommendations.
The website was built with a mobile-first approach, ensuring seamless performance on all devices, from desktops to smartphones.
We followed web accessibility guidelines to make the site inclusive, incorporating elements such as alternative text for images, readable fonts, and contrast-optimized color schemes.
The newly developed IDM website serves as a dynamic digital hub, enhancing IDM’s online presence and supporting its mission. By combining a robust CMS, a user-friendly interface, and accessible resources, IDM’s website is now a valuable platform for engaging stakeholders and sharing IDM’s important work in democratic governance and civil society development.
